New Player Orientation & QB Clinic

• 9:00am EDT - 12:30pm EDT March 23rd, 2024
• Football 101 (9am-9:45am): The first part of orientation is “Football 101” for players who are totally new to football – if you’d like to learn some basic football rules, positions, etc., you’ll want to attend this high-level coaching session. Football 101 is not required for players who have a foundational understanding of football. Please arrive by 8:45am so you can register and be ready to start right at 9am. New Player Orientation (10am-12:30pm): Orientation is very important for new players – please make every effort to attend. During this orientation, you’ll meet our spring captains and other new players, receive coaching on the nuances of flag football (there are many notable differences from regular football that you need to be aware of) and our league’s rules, scrimmage against other new players, and get other important details to make sure your first season with us is fantastic! If you’re not attending Football 101, please arrive for Orientation by 9:30am to allow time to register, stretch, and get ready to start right at 10am. Following orientation, you’re invited to join us at Grid Iron (1599 Post Road). Grid Iron is our regular post-game sports bar, and most league members go there after each week’s games.
